December 9th 2006 - Today we celebrate one year in our new location in Alva, Clackmannanshire. We're pretty much settled now and hope you will come to know the area too through Chris's pictures of the gorgeous countryside around. Please see our new gallery which features our new home, and this year's furry additions to the household ! September 30th 2006 - marvellous: image is enormously proud to announce that in February next year we are due to become the marvellous: family ! Thank you to all our friends for their messages of congratulations ! May 30th 2006 - Who would believe it's already two years after our first public showing ? March 12th 2006 - Chris has been working hard pictures for our first corporate client's website ! February 15th 2006 - We are very proud to say that the marvellous: image website has had it's 1000th visitor ! February 13th 2006 - The
marvellous: family has grown ! The Balerno shelter for the
Scottish Society for the Prevention
of Cruelty to Animals has provided us with Elsie and Marley, our new
feline additions. You are sure to be seeing them feature in future
collections of pictures. January 9th 2006 - The marvellous:image
website is now hosted by Pipex. The url and domain remain the same, so
no change is needed from our regular visitors.
December 25th 2005 - Merry
Christmas and a Happy New Year to all our friends from Chris & Susan from
our lovely new home, Kenmuir.
December 15th 2005 - We
have moved ! marvellous: image HQ has left the big city of Glasgow and moved
to the tranquil countryside of Clackmannanshire. We hope to have
wonderful new images of our new surroundings in the next collection of
pictures.
December 1st 2005 - A new collection of
work from 2005 is launched just in time for Christmas. If you want any orders for pre-Christmas
delivery please get them in as soon as possible.
July 15th 2005 - The extra
special new gallery, marvellous: archers opens
today featuring images from the BLBS Celtic Meeting.
June 26th 2005 - Hello Longbow
Archers ! marvellous: image
has just returned from the British
Longbow Society in Scotland, Celtic Meeting 2005,
where Chris was the official photographer for the event. We met old
friends and new and enjoyed two glorious sunny days of longbow archery.
And we must of course mention, that Scotland once again won the Ailsa
Trophy from Ireland, but only by the narrowest of margins. If anyone still wants to

to our marvellous friends, Jay and Fede on their handfasting! June 2005 - According to
the calendar, if not the weather, summer is now upon us and marvellous:
image has a packed schedule for the coming months. Weather permitting, you can
find us at Paintings
on Railings, on Queen Margaret Drive by the Botanic Gardens on: Hope to see you there ! May 2005 - The new work presented
at the April Paintings on Railings event has been very well received
by the buying public, giving a great start to the season. April 2005 - marvellous
image is preparing to enter it's second year with our first
outing to Paintings on Railings. 2005 - Happy New
Year to all our friends December 2004 - marvellous
image is currently putting in the miles across central Scotland
and undertaking a marathon round of Christmas sales. However, we are never to
busy to bring you some marvellous new pictures. The gallery now features images from recent trips to Fife
and a wonderful stay at Luss.... and there's still time to order
in for pre-Christmas delivery ! We hope you like them. October 2004 - Big developments
are underway for marvellous image... Photographer Chris Mooney
has left the rat race behind and is now devoted full time to producing
more marvellous images. He has already been taking the opportunity to
travel round Scotland with his camera. The results of his tour will
be seen very soon in the next release of images. Watch this space ! marvellous image is
gearing up for Christmas. We will be visiting a number of events in
November and December and a range of calendars and cards will also be
available from this website in the very near future. Full details will
be sent out in the newsletter as soon as they are available. September 24 2004 - Over
the damp months of the summer, marvellous image has been out
to the islands, capturing more images of beautiful and fascinating Scotland.
June 30 2004 - marvellous
image presents new work in the gallery. Look out for the influence of a recent trip to
Belfast, and the debut appearance of marvellous image's cat, Josie.
June 27 2004 - The West End
Festival comes to a close on a sunny Sunday, with marvellous image
meeting many new people and having a very successful day. Our thanks,
as ever, to Lynne Scobbie
for her marvellous efforts in organising Paintings
on Railings. She has given marvellous image a great deal
of support, advice and encouragement to see us through our first days. June 26 2004 - Torrential
rain cancels Paintings on Railings, and marvellous image wisely
decides to stay indoors with a warm drink. June 13 2004 - marvellous
image took part in the West End Festival Parade Day Paintings
on Railings. A busy day with samba bands and papier mache dragons
amongst those browsing. June 1st 2004 - marvellous
image presents a new gallery of recent work, marvellous newness. May 30th
2004 - marvellous image has had its first ever, very sucessful
sale at Paintings on Railings. marvellous image is very grateful
to all who supported the launch and exhibition and helped to make it
such a big success. May 29th & 30th - marvellous
image will be having its first ever sale at Paintings on Railings,
Botanic Gardens, Glasgow. May 24th 2004 - marvellous
image website is launched to public view.
